  • San Miguel, Santa Fe. Considered by some historians to be the oldest place of religious worship still in use in North America. Original church was built sometime after 1605, and destroyed by fire during the Pueblo revolt in 1680. Construction of this church was begun in 1693 and completed in 1710. The stone buttresses were added in 1887.

  • Santo Tomas de Abiquiu. Original church was built in 1773. This building was constructed in 1937.
  • Nuestra Senora del Rosario, Truchas. Church was built sometime after the beginning of the 19th century. A new church was built in the 1970's, but this building is still maintained by members of the alter society, the Carmelitas.
  • Santo Tomas del Rio de Las Trampas. Building was completed in 1776. It is still in use.

  • Santuario de Chimayo, built as a private chapel in 1814. This site is visited by thousands of pilgrims, who believe that it was built on sacred earth with miraculous healing powers.
  • San Lorenzo de Picuris. This church in Picuris Pueblo has been rebuilt several times since the original 1770 structure. The current church, which dates to 1988, was constructed with the original floor plan and exterior style. Only the entrance gate remains from the 18th century.
