Pathways are a metaphor for life. The forward direction is indicated. Deviation from the pathway is risky, until we come to a fork. Then a decision is required, which sets us on a new course and precludes the alternative choice. Sometimes an end is in sight, but usually we cannot see that far. And there may be a gate that closes behind us, once we have passed through. I will be adding more images to this gallery from time to time.
